Corp Members Embark On Nationwide Sanitation.

National Youth Service Corps member, on Saturday, embarked on nationwide sanitation as part of their duties to ensure clean, safe and healthy Nation.

In Lokoja, Kogi state capital, DeErudite correspondent gathered that Corp member assembled at the New International Market where they were divided into groups to ensure effective sanitation exercise.

In his opening remarks before the commencement of the exercise, the state NYSC coordinator, Mr. T. O Lasaki, charged Corps members to take the sanitation exercise seriously, citing that it is a part fulfilment of one of the four cardinal point of NYSC- Community Development Service-CDS and urging them to put in their best during the exercise.

NYSC officials were also on ground to take the list of Corps members who were present during the exercise.

Speaking after the exercise, a Corps member, Anyasi Chinonso, thanked the Federal Government for the sustenance of such scheme that helps unite youths from different parts of the country, and warned against the move to scrap NYSC, noting that it was a step in the wrong direction.

After working for an approximation of 3 hours, Corps members dispatched to their various homes.
