CBN Discloses Deadline For Acceptance Of Current N200, N500, N1,000 Notes As Legal Tender

The Central Bank of Nigeria CBN has said that the current series of N200, N500, and N1,000 notes remain legal tender until the deadline of January 31, 2023.

The CBN stated this following the growing worries amongst the masses over when the current legal tenders would be outdated.

It, however, affirmed that the current notes as earlier declared would continue to be accepted until the final date issued by the CBN.
