BUHARI VS Rev Fr MBAKA: Kanu Wades In, Charges Followers To Defend Their Own
By Chinazom Hyginus.
The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu (MNK) has charged his followers and the Biafran supporters at large to stand for Rev. Fr. Mbaka. This was coming as a response and in reaction to the threats by the presidency to report the Spiritual Director of The Adoration Ministry Enugu, Nigeria to the Bishop of Rome, Pope Francis (I) over his call for President Muhammadu Buhari’s resignation or impeachment.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu made the call in a video clip that was posted on his social media handle.
The video of the controversial speech by Mbaka which was allegedly made during a session in his adoration ministry ground went viral after it was posted on the social media handles of the popular man of God. In the same vein, in a recent video posted on Mazi Kanu’s social media handle, the leader of IPOB advised his followers and the Biafran supporters and lovers all over the world to defend Reverend Fr Mbaka at this point considering what is going on, as their own brother, regardless of what might have transpired in the past.
Kanu who promised total allegiance to the restoration of the Republic of Biafra under the auspices of IPOB, asked Biafrans to sheath their swords and be calm following the spate of unconstructive criticisms over Rev Fr. Mbaka’s speech in the week.
“He said: Reverend Father Mbaka must be defended regardless of his perceived faults. Don’t allow the character assassination antics of the ‘janjaweeds’ Caliphate to make you hate your own”.
“After we subdue the caliphate then we can come home and allocate blame in-house. Never join outsiders to destroy your own”.
Recall that the spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu, Nigeria (AMEN) has within the week asked President Buhari to resigned or face impeachment following his failure to deliver the CHANGE he promised to Nigerians.
Responding, the president through his special assistant on media and publicity, Garba Shehu through his Twitter handle described Mbaka’s speech as propaganda, alleging that he is inciting the public against Buhari because of the refusal of the Presidency to offer him contracts without due process after he (Mbaka) came to the villa to make the requests.
