Breaking: [SECURITY IN S’EAST] Awka Wears New Look As Soludo Intensifies Effort For Kanu’s Release
The governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo has intensified efforts in ensuring that the security of lives and properties are restored in the Southeast region of Nigeria.
Governor Soludo has upon assuming duties, prioritized the security of Ndi and Anambra as well as the residents of the state and extension, the entire Southeast and the country at large.
Recall that during the Saturday, 14, January 2023 kicked off of All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA, a national campaign for the 2023 general election at Awka, Anambra State, Governor Soludo appealed to the Federal Government for the immediate release of the IPOB leader Mazi Kanu, from the custody of the Department of State Service DSS.
He, however, offered to surety Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and ensure that he is available whenever the authority requires him.
“I am making a passionate appeal to the Federal Government to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu unconditionally. If he cannot be released unconditionally, I want him released to me and I will stand surety for him”
“We need Nnamdi Kanu in the roundtable conversation to discuss the insecurity in the South East. We must end insecurity in the South East and we need Nnamdi Kanu to be around.” Gov. Soludo said.
