BREAKING: Gunmen Whisk Driver Off, Set Vehicle Ablaze in Anambra

A yet to be identified man and driver of a white Toyota Hilux today, at the front of Cathedral church St Mary’s Uruagu Nnewi was whisked away by unknown gunmen.

The incident which occurred in the mid of a rather sizzling noon on Sunday, 6th of June, 2021 worrisomly has brought the number of activities of an unidentified gunmen in the early days of the month of June in the country to an alarming rate.

De Erudite Media Team gathered that upon hijacking the car, the driver was instantly bundled to an unknown destination, after setting his car ablaze.

Meanwhile, an eyewitness who pleaded anonymity, said that the gunmen were in masks and have double-crossed the Toyota Hilux in a camando style and pushed the driver off to their own car.

It was further disclosed that the gunmen razed the Toyota Hilux while they zoomed off taken the man to an unknown destination.

Consequent upon the development, the fate of the man kidnapped could not be ascertained at this point.

However, as the spate of insecurity escalate on daily basis, with people living in uncertainties amidst incessant activities of the unknown gunmen among other acts of criminalities, insurgencies and banditries, the country seemingly is facing her worst moment in the recent past whereby security has become every man’s business.
