Anaocha Festival 2021, Adazi-Nnukwu Gets  More Chiefs

Adazi-Nnukwu Community has added more members to her chiefs following the chieftaincy titles given to distinguished personalities of Emeka Ezekwe, Ikechukwu Okoye-Odike (Iykon) and Mrs Chinedu Okwudiri Okoye-Odike

The chieftaincy honour was conferred to them by the Chairman Anaocha Council of Traditional Rulers HRH Chief Damian Ezeani, on the occasion of Anaocha Festival ANAFEST (2021) held on September 18, 2021 at Anaocha Local Government Headquarters, Neni.

The duo Mr Emeka Ezekwe conferred as Ebube Agu N’ Eche Agu 1 of Anaocha and Mr Ikechukwu Okoye-Odike and wife Mrs Chinedu Okwudiri Okoye-Odike as Ichie Mmiri Oma Chukwu and Lolo Mmiri Oma Dore-edo Di Ya Anu respectively received the honorary chieftaincy in recognition and acknowledgement of their immense contributions to the welfare of the people of Adazi-Nnukwu as well as the Anaocha LGA of Anambra State.

It is on record that Anaocha Festival ANAFEST 2021 attracted the attention of prominent personalities including State Government officials, Hon. Sir Senator Vicor Umeh (Ohamadike), Prof Chukwuma Soludo the APGA Governorship Candidate among other distinguished dignitaries from within and across the state.

Recall that the annual festival of Anaocha, in general,l is organized towards building a consolidated ground for growths and developmental strides in Anaocha LGA, Anambra State.

Highlights of the event include; Award of recognition, Chieftaincy Titles, cultural dance, etc.
