ANAMBRA ELECTION: Odimma Anambra Forum/Foundation Calls on Anambra Elders Stakeholder’s Forum to remain committed.

A socio-cultural group found with the purpose of promoting the well-being of Anambra state, Odimma Anambra, has charged the Anambra Elders Stakeholder’s Forum to remain faithfully committed to its goals and objectives.

The chairman and founder of Odimma Anambra foundation/forum Amb. Celestine Anadi (Ezeugo), while speaking during a meeting organised by the Anambra Elders Stakeholder’s Forum, held on Saturday, 26th June 2021, reaffirmed the support of the forum to join hands in ensuring that the forthcoming governorship election in the state is free, fair and bereft of any unscrupulous practices that are capable of marring the election.

further stated that the foundation through its pressure group, Odimma Anambra forum, will monitor the election in every polling booth and collation centre across the length and breadth of the state, and report its finding to the appropriate authorities.

He also advised the political parties to ensure they conduct the election within the ambit of the law and shun every undemocratic practice that will threaten the existence of democracy in the state.

He, however, called on Ndi Anambra to storm the INEC Voter’s registration centres close to them to get their voter card, as that is the only means through which they can choose who will lead them for the next four years.

He also reaffirmed the commitment of the forum to engage in voter education in order to intimate the people of Anambra State on the need to participate in the democratic process of electing their leaders as that is one of their rights as citizens of the nation.
