Hon Cater Umeoduagu of Aguata Constituency 1, Hon Timothy Ifedioramma of Njikoka Constituency 1, Hon Nonso Okafor of Nnewi North constituency, Hon Lawrence Ezeudu of Dunukofia constituency, Hon Arthur Chiekwu of Idemmili North constituency and Hon Edward Ibuzo of Onitsha North 2 constituency formed the list of House of Assembly members that have defected to All Progressive Congress-APC.
