Anambra election: APC nullifies the primary’s result.

The leadership of the All Progressive Congress- APC has voided the results of the Party’s primary election purportedly held yesterday, 26th June, 2021.

In a statement signed by the publicity secretary of the party, Okelo Madukaife, the results were dubbed fraudulent, citing that no primary was held in the state. “The figures do not owe for Anambra primaries which did not hold” he said.

It further stated that the party’s leadership has proposed June 29th for the primaries. “The leader of the party in Anambra state and the minister of labour and employment, Sen (Dr) Chris Nwabueze Ngige has proposed Tuesday June 29, 2021 for the repeat of the primaries and we recommend that it should be considered”.

It also stated that the results making the rounds should be disregarded and discarded as they are solely figment of “fertile imagination”.
