AFCON Final: Osimhen Shocks Fans, Reveals Why He Wants Trophy
Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has created a hilarious atmosphere with his ironic response to the media ahead of the AFCON finals on Sunday, 11th February, 2024.
Osimhen who also tops 9 for Napoli FC restated that Didier Drogba who is from Ivory Coast is his idol, while promising to make him happy by winning the trophy for Nigeria.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face Ivory Coast on Sunday, 11th of February, 2024 in the titanic AFCON Finals after the earlier meeting in the quarter-finals where the Eagles defeated the Ivory Coast team by an alone goal.
Reacting to the most anticipated ground finale, a journalist asked Osimhen about the finals, he has this to say:
“For the love I have for my idol Didier Drogba, I will do everything to win this AFCON so that he is proud of me.”
