As Anambra in general continues to clamour for a visionary and capacity leader in the person of Dr Obiora Okonkwo, the People’s Democratic Party PDP’s chances of getting to Agu Awka come November 6 is glaring.
Dr Okonkwo on numerous occasions has won the unalloyed supports of Ndi Anambra who have come to believe in and seen the need of ensuring he occupies the agu awka government house due to the numerous help vision-oriented leadership they are sure will come through him.
This confidence and belief have undoubtedly grounded the clarion calls from the residents state of Anambra for the servant-leader to take over power from the present administration.
It, therefore, goes without saying that based on the achievements of Dr Okonkwo as regards youth’s empowerments, infrastructural developments ranging from the overhauling of the health sector, education and agricultural sectors, as well as Industrial structures that would enable a streamlined sociopolitical, economic and human development rooted in security of lives and properties to be enjoyed by Ndi Anambra, the PDP’s Victory is assured.
The People’s Democratic Party PDP should bear in mind that any candidate less than a pragmatic personality and democrat of Dr Obiora Okonkwo calibre would tantamount to betrayal of people’s confidence and trust in the party and hence a poor outing in the main election.
Therefore, the PDP members in desirous of success at the polls come November 6 governorship election in Anambra state should do away with mere favouritism, monopoly of interest, and embrace a new Dawn set to come through Dr Obiora Okonkwo as the next governor of Anambra state.
PDP should think ‘Ndi Anambra!’
‘Think Dr Obiora Okonkwo!!’
‘Think Victory!!!.’
Dr Obiora Okonkwo is the people’s choice and is set to give Ndi Anambra the dividends of democracy that they deserve.
