All Progressive Grand Alliance-APGA won in seventeen out of the nineteen local governments in which the election was conducted.

However, the returning officer of the election, professor Florence Obi, has declared the election inconclusive.

She said the failure to conduct election in Ihiala local government has made it impossible to reach a conclusion under the the Electoral act on the result of the election.

She affirmed that the election process remains suspended until a supplementary election is conducted in all the polling unit in Ihiala Local Government.

Consequently, the supplementary election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 9th, 2021.
