Reactions As The US Court Orders For The Arrest Of Abba Kyari.

Concerned citizens of Nigeria have expressed variegated opinions on the US Court’s demand for the arrest of one of the the highly decorated police officers, DSP Abba Kyari.

Kyari was indicted for being an accomplice in the multi-million dollar fraud perpetuated by Ramon Abbas, popularly known as Husspuppi.

According to reports, Hushpuppi used Kyari to arrest and jail a co-conspirator, Chibuzo Vincent, after the latter threatened to expose a $1m fraud committed against a Qatari businessman.

In his response, Kyari expressed innocence to the allegation, stating the he only responded to a distress call from Hushpuppi who claimed that someone (Vincent) had threatened to kill his family, which made his team to swoop into action, but upon the realization that there was no real threat to life, he was released on bail and that Hushpuppi never paid him a dime for the arrest.

Responding to his defence statement, a good number of citizens expressed disbelief that a man of such humongous reputation would soil his hands in manky criminal activities, while some expressed the opinion that it was just a cheap ploy to dent the image of the high-ranked police officer.
