How NAF Pilot Survived Crash.

News about the crash of Nigerian Air force (NAF) Alpha Jet aircraft filtered into the media space yesterday, July 18, 2021. When returning after air interdiction mission between the boundaries of Zamfara and Kaduna.

It was reported to have crashed after after coming into intense ground fire from the bandits.

Fortunately, Flight Lieutenant Abayomi Dairo successful evaded the crash.

According to reports, Flight Lieutenant Dairo was able to escape the crash with the help of his surviving instincts and support from NAF Special Forces and Nigerian Army troops.

It was reported that upon the receipt of the news of the crash, the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Oladayo Amao, directed that all efforts must be put in place to rescue the pilot.

The pilot after ejecting from the aircraft, sought rescue using the cover of darkness and his phone torch, until he maneuvered his way to a Nigerian Army Unit, where he was rescued.

While hiding, the efforts of NAF Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance platforms and gunships which provided close air support to NAF special forces and Nigerian Army troops, helped to scare the bandits who were trailing him away.
