Nigerian Airforce is currently recruiting graduates and post graduates for training as direct short service cadet.
According to Mahmud Madi who announced on behalf of the chief of Air staff, the candidates must posses these criteria.
Must be single and of Nigerian origin.
Must be between the age of 20 to 30.
“Candidates born before 29 September, 1992 are not eligible) with the following exception:
“Medical Consultants should be between the age of 25 and 40 years (Candidates born before 29 September, 1982 are not eligible).
“Chaplain/Imams candidates must be between the age of 20 and 32 years (Candidates born before 29 September, 1990 are not eligible).
“The Exercise is not for serving personnel desiring Branch Commission. Therefore, personnel above 30 years of age (born before 29 September, 1992) need not apply,” he said.
Graduates of first degree must have, at least, second class upper or Upper Class in the case of HND holders.
The applicants must also possess a credit in English and Mathematics and credits in other three subject that are related to their course of study.
According to NAF, computer literacy is an added advantage, as NYSC certificate must also be shown. In the case of professional courses, the applicants must provide the certificate of registration with the statutory professional body.
Online registration kicks off on July 26, 2021 and elapses on August 30, 2021.
