2023 Presidential Campaigns: Tinubu Feeds Imo With Hope, As Uzodimma Promises To Deliver

It was a field day for the supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, as their 2023 presidential candidate, Sen. Ahmed Bola Tinubu and his vice, Kashim Shettima, alongside the entourage stormed Owerri, the capital city of Imo State.

The visit was in continuation of Tinubu’s engagement with the Nigerian people via town hall meetings with leaders of private sectors and trade associations.

Addressing the people of Imo, Sen. Ahmed Tinubu acknowledged the various challenges faced by traders, business owners, and people of the region.

He stated that his administration will build an ecosystem where traders will have access to credit facilities and create more and better jobs for the youths, as well as support more high-quality home-grown goods, as well as facilitate new industrial hubs in Aba and Owerri.

In furtherance of the quest to nourish the hopes of the Imolites, the APC’s 2023 Presidential flag bearer, reaffirmed plans to establish policies that would widen horizons and expand business reach while ensuring Owerri-Port Harcourt and Aba-Port Harcourt corridors become more active and lucrative trade and manufacturing corridors.

“As a boy raised by a mother who was a trader and market leader, I quite understand the challenges become a trader, business, and person of the region.

“We will build an ecosystem where traders will have access to credit facilities and create more and better jobs for our youths, as well as support more high-quality home-grown goods. My government will build new industrial hubs in Aba and Owerri.

“We will establish policies that would widen horizons and expand business reach while ensuring Owerri-Port Harcourt and Aba-Port Harcourt corridors become more active and lucrative trade and manufacturing corridors.

“I am grateful to all who attended the engagement and I say a special word of thanks to the businessmen and leaders who so generously donated to my campaign.
“Together, we will #RenewHope,” Tinubu said.

Meanwhile, earlier in his welcome note, the governor of Imo State, Sen. Hope Uzodimma expressed optimism that the incoming administration of the APC, under the auspices of Sen. Bola Tinubu would help renew the hope of the country.

Uzodimma who is also the South East Coordinator of the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign also assured Tinubu of a landslide victory in Imo state.
