2023: Kaduna Will Give Me Highest Number Of Votes – Atiku

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar on Monday expressed confidence that he will get the highest number of votes from Kaduna in 2023.

Atiku 2019 polled 613,318 votes in Kaduna State, although President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) gathered 993,482 votes to defeat him in the state. He expressed the belief that the people of Kaduna State will give him the highest vote in 2023. The former vice president while speaking at the presidential campaign rally of the party at the Ranchers Bees Stadium in Kaduna promised to revive dead manufacturing industries in the state. Atiku also vowed to end banditry in the state if he emerges president in 2023. The PDP presidential candidate further stated while addressing the supporters during the rally that he will take issues concerning the state serious if voters in the state ensure he wins the 2023 election. Atiku said, “Let me thank you for your support in 2019. You gave me the highest number of votes in 2019 and I believe you will do so this time around. “I have come here on behalf of PDP to tell you [that] if you vote for us, we will end insecurity in Kaduna. We will revive the industries in Kaduna in partnership with the private sector of Kaduna.”
