2023: Adamu Garba Reveals How Peter Obi Can Distance Self From IPOB
A former presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba has proffered a solution for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, to distance himself from the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
In a tweet via his verified Twitter handle on Sunday night, Garba advised the former Governor of Anambra State to organize a press conference and tag IPOB as a terrorist group. The All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart asked Obi to take a cue from Northern leaders who distanced themselves from Boko Haram insurgents and bandits terrorising the region. He wrote: “I have the formula to help Peter Obi dissociate himself from IPOB. Organize a press conference, call IPOB a terrorist organization, like all responsible Nigeria leaders did. “He can take an example from Northern leaders on Boko Haram and bandits. The pro-Biafra group also stated that it has no affiliation with any political group and will have nothing to do with anyone, especially for the 2023 general elections. IPOB also warned every politician in Nigeria to desist from linking the group with their politics and selection process because they are not politicians and have no common interest.
